XBOX ONE and PS4 have come out. Which one are you going to lock yourself in a room with in the foreseeable future? Tough question I know but it’s either this or a real social life.
With the amount of time you will be using this console you need to have the right one for you. Would you rather play Halo or MLB the show, you have to pick a side sooner or later. You can’t just keep your old console it is time to step into the future. Play Station and Xbox both have completely different ways of avoiding reality, so choose wisely.
“I’ve had my Xbox 360 for a while now but it’s time for us to move on and get PS4’s’” said Senior Chaunce Bustamante.
The PS4 came out November 15 and the Xbox One came out November 22. Xbox and Play station are both good consoles so the decision really comes down to what kind of gaming experience you want. The PS4 focuses more on games while the Xbox One wants to be a one stop for entertainment you can play games, watch TV, Skype with your friends, and so much more. While the PS4 has a state of the art controller with a touch screen on it, is cheaper, and has more games.
“The Xbox is cool because it is going to be everything in one,” said freshman Gavin Zaleslai.
Many Spartans are excited about the next generation consoles and with the holiday season coming up sales look to be huge with PS4 selling over one million units and Xbox one sales look to be just as big if not bigger. Both of these consoles are competing to be the better one this year and it is a close competition.
“I think the Xbox one is definitely the best thing coming out this year and I really want to get one,” said Freshman Will Ward.
There has always been a competition between Microsoft and Sony the makers of the Xbox and Play station over who had the better game station. The competition this year is bigger than ever with everyone talking about it Radio talk shows, news channels , and even South Park talking about which one is the best. Pop culture has made it clear that in 2014 all that will matter is what kind of Console you have.
“Xbox or PS4 they both look cool and I just can’t wait to start playing one,” said Ward.
