Channeling their inner “beach bum” or “tacky tourist”, Spartans were seen around the halls as they wore an assortment of leis, Hawaiian shirts, and other vacation-like wear for the fourth spirit day of Homecoming week, “Tourist Day.”
“I really like the theme that we chose for today. We wanted to give the students an option for pajama day which is where the ‘beach bum’ came in. It’s been really cool to see all the different tourist outfits students came up with too,” said junior Hannah Luger, a member of student leadership.
For the coming days of the week, Spartan students have one more spirit day to look forward to as well as the remainder of Homecoming events.
