WS students were among the estimated 300,000 pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered in downtown Washington, D.C. in what is being called the nation’s largest march in support of Palestine on Saturday, November 4.
“After attending the protest, it shocked me to see pictures of just how many people showed up in support of Palestine,” said junior Rowan Hagi. “I was proud to be in attendance, showing up for my country [of Palestine]. I felt I was making a difference, even if I was just one person.”
